Hello there; it seems you are interested in commissioning a character painting from me! Below you will provide me the necessary information to determine a quote for your piece(s) and secure yourself a slot.

Before we get to that, here is how this will work, and the terms for these Private Commissions:

Process

1) I email you with a quote based on your input to this form and any clarifying questions I may have about your request.

2) Once you confirm the quoted price, I will begin working.

3) I will send you a low-resolution, watermarked sketch for your approval along with a PayPal invoice for half the commission price. It will look something like this: https://i.imgur.com/F66EL77.jpg. If there are any changes you want made to features, colors, etc, note them at this stage.

4) After you have approved the sketch phase and paid the midway invoice, I will continue on to painting.

5) I will send you a low-resolution, watermarked proof of your final piece for approval: https://i.imgur.com/3yvPu61.jpg. You may request one or two minor revisions that may not have been evident at the sketch stage. Any further rounds of revision will be subject to additional fees.

6) Once the final proof (with any requested revisions) is approved, I will send an invoice for the remaining balance.

7) Web (72DPI) and Print resolution (300DPI) image files will be sent after you have paid in full.

Terms

I retain the rights to the final image(s), and may use the work in my portfolio and social media presence unless otherwise discussed and arranged. You, the client, retain any rights to the subject of the paintings. I will not re-sell your image in any form.

You may crop, adjust, and share your commission, so long as you make no monetary gain from the image. If you crop out my signature, you must otherwise credit me and link back to either my portfolio (www.coveofmadness.com), my twitter (@coveofmadness), or my tumblr (coveofmadness.tumblr.com).

I reserve the right to refuse any commission whose subject matter I am uncomfortable with. IE: No syringes/needles, No Pornography.
